This Tuesday I will have the pleasure of presenting my latest work Capturing Light Frequencies at the Music Gallery, which will be followed by a performance by Skin Tone (James Goddard), who uses voice, saxophone, mbira, and electronics to look at the beauty and clarity of distortion.

Under the theme of possible worlds, the Emergents concert series will be dedicated to hacking and the use of found technologies. It invites us to dream of new futures for emerging artists, where they have access to creative support while experimenting.

Later Friday the 17th, I will be presenting an artist talk at Pixfilm on the creative process behind my work.

Many thanks to Sara Constant, who organized the Emergents series at the Music Gallery, for this invitation, and to Madi Piller of Pixfilm, for hosting the talk and co-presenting my performance and Canada Council for the Arts.
